Responsibilities
- To lead, set & manage a variety of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) activities for all yards and project locations.
- To monitor and evaluate the organization’s overall HSE performance and implement an effective workplace safety and health management system in accordance with prevailing legislation
- To provide leadership and guidance in HSE aspect to the project and internal operations.
- Ensure compliance of operation with workplace safety and health regulations and statutory requirements
- To develop and implement HSE strategies and measurable KPIs for all projects in accordance to statutory regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections regularly to ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance to MOM safety requirements
- To investigate of any workplace accident and advise on the remedial measure to be taken to prevent any recurrence.
- To review risk assessment and SWP minimally bi-annually / periodically.
- To conduct safety training for all operations activities and ensure HSE representatives are well trained and well-equipped with HSE standards.
- Promoting Workplace Safety and Health awareness among workers by organizing campaigns, training course, and etc
- Participate in safety committee inspection and meeting
- To report monthly HSE safety statistics reports to all stakeholders. (e.g., incident accident summary report, training conducted, etc.)
- To follow-up on necessary actions to ensure compliance with ISO standards, BizSafe and Green & Gracious etc.
- To be the appointed FSM and carry out the roles per SCDF’s requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in HSE or relevant field
- MOM Registered WSH Officer
- ECO (Environmental Control Officer) certificates is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience
- Familiar with ISO and BizSafe standard
- Proven strong time management, leadership, qualities and interpersonal skills.
- Good Communication Skills

- Working Day: 5.5 days per week
- Working Hour: 8.00am to 5.00pm
