Key Responsibilities:
- Provide application formulation and field support to the Performance Coatings industry in the East Asia Pacific Region for different segments e.g. Automotive, Synthetic, Industrial and Fabric Coatings.
- Support business development to run industrial trials at customer sites for new technologies.
- Support the sales team by visiting customers to promote products, including new product launch for meeting customers’ requirements.
- Perform day-to-day lab duties and conduct related applications testing in laboratory for customers’ projects.
- Create good internal communications within Singapore application team and global experts.
- Share and transfer application knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Several years of working experience in coatings industry including coating formulation, properties testing and coating application process.
- Experience in soft substrates coating is an added advantage.
- Knowledge in polymer is an added advantage.
- After internal training finished able to independently work on multi projects (from start to technical approval by customer).
- Strong willingness to learn, proactive attitude, good interpersonal skills, creative thinking, analytical mindset, diligent and with a high level of tenacity.
Other Information:
- 5-days work week. Company transport is provided at designated pickup points.
