[What the role is]
NAC's Marketing & Audience Development department advocates and amplifies the value and importance of the arts through various communications efforts. You will work closely with the whole of the Council and its parent Ministry to provide strategic counsel and support in the areas of marketing communications, to highlight the Council’s role as champion of the arts. You will also work with departments within the Council, and with external stakeholders to initiate, implement and manage marketing communications initiatives which are aligned with NAC’s mission, vision and strategic thrusts.[What you will be working on]
Campaign Management
Support agency liaison for marketing campaigns
Assist with NAC corporate site's social media
Gain experience in project implementation and audience engagement
Digital Content
Manage website content and maintenance
Curate NAC's monthly newsletter
Create content for staff events on social media
Catch Platform
Provide Gen-Z perspective on TikTok content
Review Catch Creators' content and potential new creators
Assist with community management and editorial proofreading
Skills Development
Marketing strategy and implementation
Content creation and storytelling
Stakeholder and community management
Brand representation
[What we are looking for]
Students pursuing a degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or related fields
Able to commit full-time for 6 months (January-June 2026)
Strong desire to learn and professional drive
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace applications
Experience with photo and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, Procreate, Lightroom)
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. R, Python, VBA) is a plus
Fluent in English; other languages advantageous
Team player with passion for the Arts preferred
