Role and Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking a skilled Investment Professional to join their family office based in Singapore. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting investment decision-making by conducting in-depth market research, financial analysis, and due diligence. You will also provide professional administrative support, when needed. Working closely with the team, you will contribute to comprehensive investment recommendations and help achieve the family office's financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on potential investment opportunities across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity, and alternative investments.
- Evaluate and analyse financial statements, company performance, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors to identify investment prospects and risks.
- Prepare detailed investment reports, investment memos, and presentations to present findings and recommendations to senior management and investment committees.
- Monitor and track existing investments, including performance analysis and regular updates on market conditions, industry dynamics, and regulatory changes.
- Assist in portfolio management activities, including asset allocation, risk assessment, and performance evaluation.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in investment research and analysis.
- Liaise with internal departments, investors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Provide general administrative support to the Principal, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and document coordination. Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks and special projects to support the broader objectives of the family office.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or CFA qualifications.
- Must be able to work legally in Singapore.
- Strong financial analysis skills with a deep understanding of investment valuation techniques, financial modelling, and quantitative analysis.
- Proficiency in utilizing financial databases, research tools, and software (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, Excel, PowerPoint) to gather and analyse investment data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare comprehensive investment reports and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic to uphold confidentiality and high ethical standards in handling sensitive financial information. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
