Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately book daily trade and non-trade transactions, and maintain portfolio data within the portfolio management system.
- Ensure timely and accurate integration of daily prices into the system.
- Perform daily and weekly reconciliations between the system and bank statements.
- Investigate and resolve trade settlement issues promptly with banks and custodians.
- Prepare accurate and timely Net Asset Value (NAV) reports for client portfolios.
- Coordinate and process capital call payments and related documentation.
- Liaise with banks, custodians, and investment funds to validate data and ensure proper documentation.
- Collaborate with the Investment team to maintain data integrity and consistency across systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and system efficiency; work with the team to implement changes.
- Embrace technology and automation in daily tasks to drive efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Support ad-hoc operational tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail; a high level of accuracy is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other financial systems or data tools is a plus.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to handle a wide range of responsibilities.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative small company environment.
- Comfort with technology and a strong interest in using tech-based tools to streamline operations.
