Key Responsibilities:
- Develop cyber security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Monitor network traffic and system activity for suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability scans.
- Respond to and manage security incidents, including investigation, resolution, and reporting.
- Manage firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks (NIST).
- Develop upskilling material for employees cyber security awareness and best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging cyber threats and tools.
- Support IT audits and provide evidence of security controls and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify security requirements for new systems or projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of network and application security concepts.
- Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
- Familiarity with security risk assessments and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
