Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and support LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
- Maintain and monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency).
- Configure and install firewalls, switches, routers, and other networking devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce network security best practices.
- Conduct capacity planning and recommend infrastructure upgrades.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and procedures.
- Participate in network-related incident response and change management.
- Provide mentorship when needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 3+ years of experience in network engineering or related field
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking hardware.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, and other core networking concepts.
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security best practices.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with internal and external Chinese stakeholders.
Preferred Certifications (a plus):
- Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional (CCNA/CCNP)
- Juniper Networks Certified Specialist
- CompTIA Network+
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking
