Responsibilities:
Operate specialised laboratory equipment to provide service to the research community.
Provide high quality technical services to researchers in the areas of complex tissue collection and processing procedures, as well as other laboratory procedures such as necropsy, embedding, cryotomy, microtomy, staining, etc.
Maintain equipment, consumables, etc in good working order to ensure an uninterrupted service whenever possible.
Involve in QA audit for GLP compliance.
Handle routine laboratory administration.
Requirements
Educational background in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences or a related field.
Good basic laboratory skills and manual dexterity.
Familiarity with histopathology techniques and GLP would be an advantage.
Meticulous and organised with an ability to multi-task.
Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willing to work in a service based environment and provide technical service support.
