Legal Consultant - Investigations & Compliance

We are currently seeking a lawyer with investigations, compliance experience to work with our F500 clients in the Financial Services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct investigations into potential violations of company policies, ethical standards, relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide legal advice and support on compliance issues related to financial regulations from various regulatory bodies.
  • Advise on legal and compliance risks arising from investigations and recommend appropriate courses of action to mitigate these risks.
  • Develop and implement compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on compliance matters to internal stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Conduct compliance and ethics training sessions for employees, focusing on relevant laws, regulations, and industry-specific requirements.

Mininum requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in compliance and ethics investigations
  • Proven experience in conducting investigations and handling sensitive matters with confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments.
