We're seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Marketing Manager to play a key role in developing and executing impactful trade marketing strategies. This exciting opportunity will allow you to collaborate with cross-functional teams, build strong relationships with retail partners, and contribute directly to our brand's success.
Main responsibilities:
Market & Competitive Analysis: Capture market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance. Analyse data to identify opportunities for growth and optimize marketing strategies. Maintain up-to-date information on distribution, customer data, store details, and competitor merchandising.
Project Development & Execution : Collaborate with Regional Trade, Brand Marketing, and Sales teams to develop and execute projects aligned with our business strategy. Prepare compelling presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, from obtaining quotes and renderings to tracking installation timelines and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Retail Partner Collaboration : Build and nurture strong relationships with Wholesale retail partners. Support their marketing efforts by providing POS materials and brand assets. Negotiate for increased shelf space and brand visibility. Plan and execute sell-out incentive campaigns through our in-house platform.
Budget Management: Effectively manage the trade marketing budget, maximizing ROI on all initiatives. Process purchase requisitions, track purchase orders, and manage vendor invoices. Maintain accurate budget tracking records.
Sales Team Support: Collaborate with the sales team, providing marketing materials, product training, and logistical support for samples and promotional items. Assist the commercial team with pricing updates on product catalogues.
Main requirements:
Bachelor's degree.
At least 2-6 years of experience in Marketing roles.
Strong understanding of the retail landscape, ideally within the Trade industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to develop and execute successful trade marketing campaigns.
Experience in trade merchandising and in-store marketing.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to measure campaign performance.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and strategies.
Fluency in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills.
Self-motivated and independent, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
