- Unload materials from delivery vehicles and ensure accurate quantities. Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and document any issues.
- Verify and record storage destinations based on receiving documents. Properly store materials in designated locations, ensuring easy retrieval when needed.
- Retrieve stored materials according to orders and move them to production or shipping areas in a timely manner, ensuring accurate order picking.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation related to the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials. Ensure accuracy in recording inventory movements.
- Properly package materials for shipment, following guidelines to prevent damage during transit. Ensure appropriate labelling and documentation are attached to shipments.
- Conduct routine cycle counts to validate inventory accuracy. Collaborate with inventory control teams to identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Utilize computer systems to locate materials within the inventory database. Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is reflected in the system.
- Perform tasks under direct supervision, following established guidelines and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in materials handling.
EH&S:
- Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company.
- Report all incidents (injuries, illnesses, near misses, spills etc), hazardous conditions, and emergencies to his/her supervisor.
- Responsible for performing a risk assessment of work activities, taking corrective and preventive actions.
- Comply with EH&S regulations/policies/programs/rules and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in audits and inspections as and when required.
- Attend EH&S training programs and takes personal responsibility for safety.
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in the Continuous Improvement programs within the company to reduce waste, reduce cost, reduce errors and improve productivity.

- Minimum GCE "N" or "O" levels or equivalent educational background.
- Possess 1 - 2 years of experience in materials handling or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of inventory management and materials movement.
- Familiar with fundamental packing and shipping techniques to ensure the safe transportation of materials.
- Ability to comprehend and adhere to company safety rules and regulations.
- Proficiency in using appropriate tools, processes, and techniques for materials handling, ensuring materials are managed efficiently and securely.
- Strong numeracy skills to accurately perform tasks such as counting, measuring, and verifying quantities.
- Basic knowledge of Oracle and Agile systems is advantageous, contributing to effectively utilising digital tools for materials management.
- Able to lift and carry weights of up to 20kgs, meeting the role's physical demands.
