- Familiarize with the project organization, site conditions, contract terms, specifications, and all relevant drawings (M&E, architectural, structural, interior, and specialist works).
- Supervise and inspect site works, including off-site fabrication, ensuring compliance with design intent, specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.
- Check and ensure timely submission of all drawings, including authority submission and shop drawings.
- Maintain proper site records: daily reports, safety logs, site diary, materials, equipment, manpower, dayworks, provisional quantities, etc.
- Verify contractor’s setting out, service routes, and preliminaries; report any deviations to the consultant team.
- Review and verify the contractor’s progress claims and variation works.
- Address contractor’s queries and coordinate between the main contractor and direct contractors.
- Inspect and ensure completed works comply with statutory and contract requirements.
- Supervise M&E works and carry out any additional duties as instructed by the consultant team.
- Prepare and follow up on Punch/Defect Lists to ensure timely rectification during the Maintenance Period.
- Witness inspections, testing, and commissioning to confirm compliance with design and specifications.
- Possess at least a recognized Diploma/Nitec in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering/ Building
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Residential projects
- A good team player and experience in assisting the consultant team / Resident Engineer in supervision
