Key Responsibilities:
- Perform NDT inspections (VT, UT, MT, PT, RT) on welds, components (Drill Pipe, Bottom Hole assembly, casing and tubing (Non-Destructive Testing), and materials as per industry standards (ASME, AWS, API, ISO, ASTM etc.)
- Interpret test results and document findings in inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Review and verify material traceability and inspection records.
- Support production and QA teams by providing technical insight on defect analysis and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain and operate NDT equipment in accordance with manufacturer and procedural guidelines.
- Planning, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring inspection jobs of components set by the customer.
- Promote and ensure adherence to company HSE and quality policies.
Job Requirements:
- Certification in one or more NDT methods (e.g. ASNT Level II or PCN Level II in UT, MT, PT, RT, VT)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in NDT inspection, preferably in oil & gas, manufacturing, or construction sectors.
- Familiarity with standards such as ASTM, ASME, API, ISO, AWS.
- Strong understanding of welding processes, materials, and defect types.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specs, and test procedures.
- High attention to detail and strong documentation/reporting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces or elevated areas if required.
- Able to work without supervision
