Job Description
- Manage, consolidate and assess departments' budget requirements, as well as analyse budget performance to make recommendations on the resource allocation
- Perform a range of financial reporting tasks, including month-end and year-end closing activities
- Oversee goods receipt and ensure compliance of users to meet prompt payment targets
- Provide guidance and advice to users on end-to end procurement process from sourcing, raising of requirement specifications to vetting of Quotation/Tender documents submitted by department’s teams, contract management to closing of Purchase Orders in accordance with RP policies and guidelines
- Streamline and collaborate with users to conduct independent review of work processes and systems and recommend possible improvements to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness
[What we are looking for]
Job Requirements
- At least 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in government budgeting and procurement practices/processes
- Meticulous, able to multi-task and work independently as well as a team player
- Able to adopt a collaborative approach with both internal and external stakeholders
- Possess excellent written, verbal communication and good interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in the use of electronic procurement systems (e.g. GeBIZ and Cumulus/Workday) and familiarity with digitalisation tools (e.g. Microsoft Suites such as Power Apps and Power Automate) will be an added advantage
