A leading organisation in Singapore’s aviation services sector is seeking an Operations Associate to support airside operations and ensure the smooth uplift of inflight catering services. This position involves supervising daily ground operations, verifying accurate packing and loading, and assisting the Duty Manager in coordinating flight schedules and handling operational disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor ground activities to identify and report safety risks or physical hazards.
- Conduct checks to ensure packing accuracy according to specific meal sector requirements.
- Read and interpret flight schedules to load food and beverage carts accurately.
- Assist the Duty Manager in meeting all operational and uplift timelines.
- Oversee operational functions within the Ops Control Centre.
- Coordinate contingency plans in the event of flight disruptions.
- Supervise packing and verification of prepaid meals to ensure accurate daily uplifts.
Job Requirements:
- Strong adaptability and teamwork, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional departments.
- High attention to detail, especially regarding flight-specific catering requirements.
- Ability to read and understand operational documents and flight schedules.
- Previous experience in inflight catering or airside operations is a plus.
