Responsibilities
- teach the English Conversation Course to Japanese high school students
- administer mid-term & end of term oral exams
- update student attendance register daily
- attend monthly Department meetings
- email twice weekly homework tasks to students
Qualifications
- candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any field with a CELTA/TESOL qualification preferred
- candidate must have a minimum of 2 years ESL teaching experience
Requirements
- candidate must have experience in teaching speaking skills to different ability levels of students (from low level to near native speakers)
- candidate must have experience in grading English oral skills including oral examinations
- candidate must have a passion for teaching Japanese high school students
- candidate must be a team player who is used to collaborating with colleagues
- candidate must be proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Word; computer skills necessary
- candidate must have a commitment to meeting deadlines and be punctual
- candidate must provide at least two contact details for referees (At least one reference must be job-related and not just personal or academic related)
