WORKING HOURS: 3-day work week
JOB SUMMARY:
Prepare and implement the lesson plan for students throughout the school year. You will be expected to engage with students and foster an interactive learning environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and prepare lessons in relation to individual students' needs and examination syllabuses.
- Teach music theory, aural skills and practical techniques to students.
- Records student grades and attendance.
- Acquire appropriate teaching materials and resources.
- Leads rehearsals for musical programs.
- Communicate with academic staff and parents.
- Ensure up-to-date knowledge and awareness of examination requirements. Assess student’s abilities, providing feedback and writing reports.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree in music education and teaching certificate/ credential in Primary School Music.
- At least 2 years of prior experience in teaching music.
- Passionate about music.
- Demonstrable knowledge of music curriculum and the ability to implement it.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Positive communication skills.
- Capacity to work collaboratively as the member of a team.
