Roles and Responsibilities
- Support procurement operations including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing from local and overseas vendors.
- Evaluate vendor quotations to meet technical and commercial requirements.
- Perform document matching (PO, DO, Invoice) and ensure proper filing.
- Coordinate delivery schedules, logistics, and shipment tracking.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and implementation of purchasing strategies.
- Ensure procurement compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain supplier relationships and assist in vendor onboarding and monitoring.
- Utilise ERP and digital procurement tools to drive efficiency and automation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to procurement process improvements.
- Demonstrate teamwork and a problem-solving mindset under pressure.
- Handle ad-hoc procurement tasks as assigned by Procurement Manager.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in procurement; more experienced candidates may be considered for a senior position.
- Proficient in MS Office; ERP or procurement software experience is a plus.
- Exposure to procurement process automation and digital tools.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
- Effective communication and strong teamwork across departments.
- Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
