Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at a fast-growing soap manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily factory operations, ensuring product quality, maintaining production schedules, and leading a team of production workers.
The ideal candidate must be hands-on, quality-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output and quality goals.
- Ensure that standard operating procedures (SOPs), health & safety guidelines, and hygiene standards are strictly followed.
- Monitor the production process and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, ensuring performance standards are met.
- Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials and finished products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure machinery and equipment are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment (soap or chemical production preferred).
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- Good knowledge of production processes and equipment handling.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Knowledge of GMP, workplace safety, and hygiene standards.
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.).
- Physically fit and willing to be hands-on when needed.
- Willing to work shifts or weekends if production schedule requires.
