Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans, and translate them into actionable tasks
- Fabricate furniture in the factory and conduct quality assurance checks on imported custom pieces
- Oversee and participate in on-site installations and repairs of custom furnishings
- Operate woodworking machinery and tools
- Ensure high workmanship standards and adherence to project timelines
- Lead and guide team members, assign tasks, and coordinate on-site work
- Track and report installation progress to management (with photo documentation before, during, and after)
- Communicate professionally with client representatives on-site
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory/team leader role
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and operating carpentry tools
- Familiarity with woodworking machinery (e.g. CNC Router, Cold Press, Banding Machine) is advantageous
- Experience with commercial projects (e.g. airport, shopping mall installations) is a plus
- Able to work beyond standard hours or on weekends as required by site demands
- Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) - required to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients and counterparts in our China branch for coordination of projects and daily operations
- Reliable, responsible, and capable of leading a team effectively
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Overtime applicable in accordance with MOM regulations
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month
