Responsibilities:
- End-to-end project management — plan, execute, monitor, and control project schedules, scope, and costs, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Engineering design — develop plant layouts, equipment arrangements, steel structures, and piping systems in line with project specifications and industry codes.
- BIM-enabled design — prepare and review 2D and 3D models (Revit, Inventor, Plant 3D, PDMS) to support engineering coordination - and clash detection.
- Authority submissions — assist in preparing and coordinating submissions to BCA, SCDF, and other relevant authorities.
- Fabrication supervision — inspect and monitor the fabrication of vessels, steel structures, ducting, and piping at workshops, ensuring quality and safety compliance.
- Site management — oversee installation works, coordinate with contractors, and ensure adherence to safety standards, especially in hazardous or high-spec environments.
- Stakeholder coordination — liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project progress.
- Technical problem-solving — identify potential issues early, recommend practical solutions, and adapt to evolving project requirements. Documentation and reporting — maintain accurate project records, progress reports, and as-built documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Structural Engineering.
- Preferably 3 years’ experience in processing equipment or piping installation (fresh graduates with strong academic results are also encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modelling software (e.g., Revit, Inventor, Plant 3D, PDMS).
- Knowledge of MS Project is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently under site conditions.
- Willing to work overtime and travel overseas for site assignments. Possessing a valid driving licence is an added advantage.
