About the Job:
Are you a highly experienced Project Manager within the FMCG or Consumer Healthcare industry, looking for Lead cross functional teams to ensure launches are on-time and to quality standards for new Consumer Healthcare products (medicinal products, medical devices, food supplement and cosmetics/personal care) that are manufactured externally at Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) in ASIA + AU. You will need to consider GMP and other regulatory requirements, costs and supply chain effectiveness and act as a focal point for the wider External Manufacturing AMEA team in IPS (sourcing). Your exceptional coordination skills will need to pivot between the regional project teams and sub region EM PMO's, and controllers to ensure all relevant information is up to date and that all sourcing cases are presented.
Main Responsibilities
  • Lead cross functional launch teams and ensure launch in-time and quality of new CHC products (medicinal products, medical devices, food supplement and cosmetics) manufactured at Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) in ASIA + AU considering GMP and other regulatory requirements as well as cost and supply chain effectiveness.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans (incl. resource planning) based on project order and feasibility studies. Monitor and report project progress.
  • Determine budget for launch and Innovation projects and assume responsibility for budget adherence.
  • Managing relationships with CMO, CDMO and Internal Stakeholders
  • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation, including finalizing of all related Due Diligence report from respective functions
  • Designing risk mitigation plan
  • Conducting project review and creating detailed reports
  • Ensure Opella's interests in contract negotiations with CMOs and license givers (e.g. MSA, LSA, QAA) in close coordination with EM KAM, EM Quality and procurement
  • Represent the Project in interaction with management committees. Initiate and implement management decisions.
  • Continuously improve the EM CHC launch and transfer processes in close cooperation with corporate functions
  • Act as a focal point for EM AMEA in IPS (sourcing) with strong coordination with region IA CHC PPM, sub region EM PMO and Controller ensuring all relevant information are made available before all sourcing case involving CMO will be presented in the AMEA sourcing committee by IA CHC PPM
  • Lead sourcing process for AMEA in close coordination with all EM cross functional team (Supply Chain, Quality & RA, KAM, Procurement, HSE) and GBU innovation teams
  • As a gate keeper for new CMO entrant and ensure all new CMO approval process are respected
  • Lead Due Diligence process within EM ASIA concerning NPD and Innovation (BD, in-licensing etc) projects
  • Support in any strategic projects as stipulated by the reporting Manager
About you:
Experience:
  • Experienced in project management within New Product Development/ new product launches, or technical product transfer management, pharmaceutical manufacture or process technology
  • Background within FMCG, Consumer Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industries a must
  • Proven leadership experience working with senior stakeholders
Education:
  • Degree qualififed in Business, Science, Pharmacy or Engineering (Supply Chain)
Soft and Technical Skills:
  • High level negotiation and communication skills (both written and verbal English)
  • Stakeholder management and creating strong business partnerships both internally and externally
  • Extremely organised and outcome driven, able to juggle multiple priorities at once
  • Team player! and agility to adapt to changing conditions
  • Technical skills in project management software and microsoft suite
