We are looking for a Project & Safety Coordinator to support daily site operations while ensuring compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations. This role combines project coordination with safety oversight, including conducting Risk Assessments, site inspections, and ensuring safe work practices across all activities.
Job Scope
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing project activities according to timeline, scope, and budget
- Coordinate daily operations with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Monitor project progress, update schedules, and help manage resources and manpower allocation
- Prepare and manage site documentation, including permits, inspection records, drawings, and progress reports
- Organize and attend site meetings; prepare meeting minutes and follow up on outstanding issues
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and correct unsafe conditions, acts, or practices
- Enforce compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and MOM guidelines
- Develop, review, and update Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) for all site activities Ensure workers are briefed on job-specific risks and that all control measures are implemented before starting work
Requirements
- Minimum NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Engineering, Safety, Construction, or a related field
- Completed or willing to complete the WSH Coordinator Course recognized by MOM
- 2 years of experience in project or site coordination, safety-related work, or relevant internship/training
- Knowledge of WSH Act, Risk Assessment procedures, and MOM safety requirements
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to handle basic documentation
- Good communication and teamwork skills; able to coordinate with site personnel and contractors
- Physically fit to work on-site and in outdoor environments
- Valid CSOC / Safety Supervisor Course certification (preferred)
