About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Project Support Engineer to join a dynamic IT infrastructure team supporting multiple concurrent project deployments. This role sits at the intersection of project coordination and technical execution — ideal for someone with a strong foundation in system administration and a keen interest in process improvement.
This is a 1-year contract to begin.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support technical project deliverables, working closely with infrastructure, application, and security teams.
- Provision virtual machines (VMs), assist in database setup, and onboard monitoring and common services across environments.
- Perform server-level support, including patch management, troubleshooting, and system administration for both Windows and Linux systems.
- Assist in deploying and integrating cloud infrastructure services.
- Document system and deployment processes, while contributing to automation and improvement initiatives.
- Support internal stakeholders by ensuring deployment readiness and post-deployment maintenance.
Requirements
- A Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project Support , IT Coordinator , or Systems Engineer role.
- Solid hands-on experience in Windows and Linux administration , including patching, clustering, and user management.
- Comfortable working with Active Directory, basic networking, and cloud operations (e.g. VM provisioning, monitoring agents) .
- Certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, ITIL, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, etc.) will be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Independent, proactive, and team-oriented.
