Projects & M&E Manager
Reports to the Assistant Director, Estates Development, and is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing building services and facilities development
Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical, extra-low voltage, security, and vertical transportation systems, including fit-outs, infrastructure, and A&A works—covering feasibility studies, budgeting, scheduling, design review, and quality assurance.
- Manage master space planning, audits, and workplace changes.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and consultants on design, space programs, costs, and timelines.
- Lead tender processes, contract awards, and direct contract execution.
- Ensure compliance with building, fire, safety, and health regulations.
- Monitor construction progress, conduct quality checks, and manage defect rectifications before handover.
- Plan and coordinate building occupancy schedules.
Requirements
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with- 5 years’ building project management experience.
- Knowledge of building development, maintenance regulations, ACMV, plumbing, sanitary, and fire protection systems.
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and CAD.
