The Public Area Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of public areas to create a positive impression for guests. This department plays a crucial role in ensuring that the physical aspects of the hotel meet high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation.
- To perform all duties associated with the cleaning of walkways, public areas, and guest reception areas of the hotel.
- Performs general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, etc. at every corner of public areas in the hotel
- Ensure all public restrooms, and toilets are clean, fresh smelling, and stocked at all times.
- Ensures that the cleaning equipment and tools assigned to perform duties are maintained at all times.
- Dust, clean, and wipe walls, doors, and table tops as and when necessary in the lobby area throughout the shift
- Empty and clean trash bins in public areas
- Undertakes other duties as and when assigned by the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a housekeeping role (Public Area).
- Able to converse in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shift work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to perform rotating shifts and 6 days work week
- Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Willing to commit OT when required.
- On-the-job training will be provided for those without relevant experience.

Pay: $1,700.00 - $1,900.00 per month
