Job Scope
- Assist in sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, evaluating offers, and negotiating prices and terms.
- Issue and process purchase orders; monitor delivery status and manage the full procurement cycle.
- Monitor stock levels, identify purchasing needs, and coordinate with internal stakeholders such as project/site teams, finance, and warehouse.
- Build and maintain effective supplier relationships and follow up on delivery schedules or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, contracts, and delivery confirmations, update procurement systems accurately.
- Prepare reports and support the purchasing team with administrative and compliance-related tasks.
- Conduct market research on pricing trends and supplier performance and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Track and report key performance metrics (e.g., order accuracy, delivery timeliness, and cost optimisation).
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Purchasing, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Detail-oriented, with good organisational and communication skills.
