Job Description:
- Inspection of tooling items as per detailed drawing included sub-out tooling items.
- Generate and update inspection reports for tooling items.
- Liaise with machinists/supervisors and designers to review detailed 3D drawings.
- Report tooling non-conformities and follow up actions. Maintain NCMR records.
- Update of Tooling BOM for fabrication & inspection status.
- Support inspection for tooling spare management system.
- Support tool engineers / tool makers for adhoc inspection of tooling items.
- Manage all IMTE calibration activities (External & Internal) as per established frequency;
Maintain and Update all calibration records.
- Organize repair of measuring equipment and support in sourcing of new equipment.
- Supporting Quality Engineer for MSA activities as planned.
- Updating of masterlists for QA documents such as quality plans, work instructions, SOPs.
- Documents issue and retrieval to all users and maintaining and up keeping of original
documents including controlled documents.
- Other tasks as may be assigned by superiors from time to time .
Requirement:
- ITE or equivalent Technical education
- Operate QA equipment such as Smart Scope, Profile Projector, CMM and Height Gauge, etc. Interpret technical drawings. Understand Geometric dimensioning & tolerance (GD&T). Basic Toolroom machining operations. Basic knowledge of MSA.
- Hands on skills on all inspection equipment. Accurate in measuring results. Gauge design to simplify checking methods.Basic computer skill in MS Excel. Good interpersonal skills.
