Job Summary:
The Quantitative Developer will join one of Engineers Gate’s investment teams in their effort to build out a state-of-the-art trading business. This person will work directly with researchers to develop, enhance, and maintain trading systems. The Quantitative Developer will gain exposure to all aspects of the algorithmic trading life cycle as new strategies are created, tested, and deployed. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology with strong attention to details and demonstrated ability to quickly and efficiently solve technical problems in a fast-paced trading environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop low latency order management and position management systems
- Develop real-time market data feed management tools
- Develop reporting and monitoring tools associated with the trading strategies
- Develop research and production platform with exceptional robustness against runtime errors
- Work closely with researchers to identify improvement opportunities and implement new requirements
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Expert C++ development skills (at least 5 years experience)
- Linux server development skills and familiar with Python programming
- Experience in real-time low latency system and data feed management with time series database
- Experience in developing GUI trading monitoring tools
Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- STEM background with solid quantitative skills, experience in data analysis Good communication skills and team spirit
