Quantity Surveyor (QS) Cums Drafter:
Focus on cost management, contractual oversight, and project financials:
- Prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities and specifications
- Estimate project costs for materials, labor, equipment, and time
- Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes
- Monitor project budgets and perform cost control throughout construction
- Manage progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Conduct risk and value management to optimize project efficiency
- Prepare regular cost reports and maintain documentation for claims and audits
- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately
- Produce AutoCAD drawings, including shop drawings and construction sketches
- Support design teams with drafting revisions and updates
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and standards
- Coordinate with site teams to reflect real-time changes in drawings
- Bridge the gap between design and cost control
- Provide accurate quantity take-offs directly from drawings
- Improve communication between technical and financial teams
- Enhance project documentation and reporting
