CoNiC is a neuroimaging facility which has stationed state-of-the-art neuroimaging equipment such as MRI, MEG, EEG, TMS and fNIRS with the mission of providing neuroimaging solutions to several projects both within NTU and other institutions in Singapore. We seek an ideal candidate to facilitate the efficient operation of CoNiC. This role involves managing equipment bookings, rescheduling as needed, coordinating logistics for training and events, maintaining scan databases, tracking billing and payment schedules, assisting in participant recruitment, procuring regular consumables and scheduling stakeholder meetings.
The Full licensed AHPC certified radiographer is required for the MRI scanning. We have already committed to perform ~2500 scans this year. Hence, it is crucial to have this replacement; otherwise, the current staff will get exhausted, and we will not be able to fulfill the research requirements of the NTU research community. This will also affect the revenue and equipment utilization rate at CoNiC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all imaging procedures ranging from MRI, EEG, fNIRS and MEG (structural MRI, functional MRI, MEG data collection, etc.) in accordance to standards described in SOP and guidelines.
- Explain procedures to research subject, and ensure consent forms and screening forms were duly signed and documented.
- To obtain high quality images, including safety instructions to subjects, safe and precise positioning of subjects in the scanners, safe and precise positioning of accessories.
- Continuous follow up of the scanning procedures and continuous monitoring of the subject’s physiological condition with special regard to subject safety. In the case of medical emergencies, intervene according to the rules of the profession.
- Perform routine check on the equipment, clean and sterilize the equipment after use.
- Report any malfunction of the equipment, abnormal findings or incidents to reporting officer or Director immediately.
- To work on in-house research projects and co-develop standardized research protocols for various studies.
- Assist to update SOPs and guidelines, quality assurance measures and procedures.
- To perform other administrative duties or ad-hoc tasks requested by the management.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Medical Imaging/ radiography/ equivalent.
- Full licensed AHPC certified radiographer with Knowledge in MRI.
- Minimum 5 years working experience as a radiographer.
- Excellent communication skills, paying attention.
- Able to work on weekends.
