Responsibilities:
- Identify, screen, and recruit domestic helpers from trusted local and international suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with reliable domestic helper agencies and suppliers in key countries (e.g., Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar).
- Evaluate and verify the quality and credibility of domestic helper suppliers to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates
- Understand and address clients' specific requirements for domestic helpers, such as childcare, eldercare, cooking, and general housekeeping.
- Recommend suitable candidates to clients based on their needs and preferences.
- Act as a professional point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing solutions in a timely manner
- Ensure that all recruitment processes comply with Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations.
- Oversee and assist with the processing of work permits, contracts, and other necessary documentation.
- Conduct background checks to ensure candidates meet legal and professional requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure domestic helpers are trained in relevant skills before deployment.
- Provide orientation for domestic helpers to understand their job responsibilities and cultural expectations in Singapore.
- Advise employers on their responsibilities and best practices when working with domestic helpers
- Continuously expand and strengthen the network of domestic helper suppliers to ensure access to top-quality candidates.
- Negotiate agreements and maintain long-term partnerships with key suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure consistent delivery of well-trained and reliable candidates
- Provide ongoing support to both employers and helpers post-placement to ensure smooth integration.
- Resolve disputes or concerns between employers and helpers in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Conduct regular check-ins with employers and helpers to monitor satisfaction and performance.
- Promote the agency’s services through various marketing strategies, including social media, online platforms, and networking events.
- Identify opportunities to grow the business by targeting new markets and clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the domestic helper recruitment industry, preferably in Singapore.
- Strong existing network of domestic helper suppliers in source countries like Indonesia, the Philippines, or Myanmar.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships with suppliers, clients, and candidates.
- Strong negotiation skills for supplier agreements and client discussions.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously
- In-depth understanding of Singapore's labour laws and MOM requirements for domestic helper recruitment.
- Knowledge of cultural sensitivities and expectations for domestic helpers in Singapore households.
- Multilingual abilities (e.g., English, Mandarin, Malay, or Tagalog) are an advantage.
