[What the role is]
Registration Executive, Land Titles Registry[What you will be working on]
Manning SLA’s lodgment / enquiry counter at Level 1 Customer Service Counter;
Acknowledgment of document submission from law firm representatives;
Liaising with law firm representatives on lodgment and hardcopy submission matters;
Updating the Electronic Lodgment System for hardcopy documents submission and delivery of documents;
Attending to enquiries from walk-in members of public ( assisting MFE staff in obtaining information for MFE staff to act on) ;
Liaising with LTR staff for walk-in enquiries, appointments and law firm representatives attending to registration matters etc
Assisting OS in the submission of mail from couriers etc ;
Verifying of leases that have been imaged by vendor; and
Amending and creating records in STARS registration system in relation to registration of documents.
[What we are looking for]
Work experience related to conveyancing with at least 1 to 4 years' experience as a conveyancing secretary in a law firm
Good knowledge of land and conveyancing law practice and the relevant legislations, Land Titles Act, Land Titles (Strata) Act, Residential Property Act and other laws in areas such as bankruptcy, corporate, and trusts and succession
Able to perform administrative job duties
Meticulous, able to work under pressure and keen to learn
This is a 1-year contract position
