The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on mechanics of soft robotics
- Collaborate with team members (Research Associates, Project Officers, PhD students), and mentor undergraduate students, visiting scholars and researchers
- Conduct modelling, simulation and experimental research on mechanics of soft robotics
- Explore applications in the fields of transportation and search and rescue
Requirements:
- PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering
- Research experiences in mechanics of materials
- Good publication record
- Proficiency in research design and research collaboration
- Good communication skills and fluent in spoken and written English for research work
