We are looking for a Research Fellow to conduct research on membrane and separation technology for desalination, resource recovery, and decarbonization at NTU.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct membrane and separation technology related projects for desalination, decarbonization, resource recovery etc.
Experimental setup design and construction, experiment design and testing, process modelling, data processing and reporting, progress report preparation, etc.
Journal paper publication.
Assistance in research proposal preparation, etc.
Assistance in mentoring junior students/researchers
Job Requirements:
PhD degree from a reputable university in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.
Excellent journal paper publication record.
Proficient oral presentation, report writing and multitasking skills.
Competent in using membrane technology and separation technologies.
Relevant research experience on electrochemical processes, electrode synthesis and in scaling up electrochemical water technology will be preferred.
Relevant research experience in the fabrication/synthesis of RO/NF/ion exchange membranes (IEMs)/organic solvent membranes and/or organic chemical synthesis, and membrane/separation process development will be preferred.
Self-motivated and able to work on your own and in a team.
Good interpersonal skills
Good written and oral communication skills
Strong responsibility for research.
