We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Merchandiser - Retail to support the execution of in-store retail strategies across toy retail channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product visibility, maintaining optimal stock levels, building strong store relationships, and driving in-store sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure timely replenishment and restocking of toy products across assigned retail stores
2. Maintain merchandising standards, including shelf arrangement, planogram compliance, and promotional displays
3. Conduct regular store visits to monitor stock movement, pricing, and competitor activities
4. Build strong working relationships with store staff and retail partners to secure optimal shelf space and promotional opportunities
5. Coordinate and support in-store promotions, events, and product launches
6. Provide feedback and insights on customer behaviour, store trends, and sales opportunities
7. Collect and report data on inventory levels, stock returns, and sales performance
8. Support the sales team in executing trade marketing campaigns and ensuring POS materials are well placed
9. Ensure stock rotation and manage returns to minimize aging inventory
10. Assist in resolving store-level issues related to stock, deliveries, or display
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in sales or merchandising, preferably in FMCG or toy industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage a field-based schedule
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Physically fit and willing to travel across multiple store locations
