Sales Specialist, Precision Genomics

Job Summary
Commercial Operations is responsible for the company’s overall operational revenue and customer-facing activities. The department includes four major business units (Precision Oncology, Infectious Disease, Life Science and Early Cancer) with support from Customer Care Team. The proposed hire will report to the Associate Director, Head of Precision as the Precision Oncology Sales Specialist. This role will be responsible for the financial objectives and commercial milestones for Precision Oncology Business in Malaysia. This role will execute Malaysia Precision Oncology business plan to ensure the adoption of MiRXES Precision Oncology Molecular Services. We are looking for a strong internal communicator to assemble resources to support the business.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Establish logistics, administrative and financial workflow for M Diagnostics clinical services across key private healthcare institutes in Malaysia.
- Include the flow of tissue samples from histology lab to M Diagnostics (Singapore) in coordination with the requesting physician and the respective pathologist/lab PIC.
- Include the flow of blood samples from the oncologists to M Diagnostics (Singapore) in coordination with the oncologists and his/her nurse, which includes sourcing for necessary approvals to export blood samples out of the country.
- Establish higher share of voice of M Diagnostics Clinical service & MiRXES products to the local clientele to boost revenue.
- Establish robust clinical services send out and receiving models with each distributor for Precision Oncology.
- Ensure adequate supply and/or quality of send-out clinical sample boxes for physician and lab use.
- Support MiRXES and M Diagnostics marketing activities from in-person events, coordination, and marketing preparation.
- 1st line phone and email enquiry support to direct physician to M Diagnostics, Finance, Medical Affairs and/or Sales for immediate assistance.
- Support Business Unit Manager to conduct customer engagement suchs as KOLs & partners.
- Conduct CME, RTDs and peer to peer sharing of latest launches, products and services offered by M Diagnostics & MiRXES.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science, preferably specialized in the field of molecular biology, biomedical science , pharmaceutical science or biotechnology
- Minimum 1-2 years work experience in the relevant field
- Fluent in spoken & written English & Bahasa Malaysia
- Excellent Communication & Presentation skills
- Problem Solver
- Troubleshooting & resourcefulness
- Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Existing rapport with KOLs
- Knowledge on laboratory workflows
