As a Sales Support Engineer report to the Head of Sales, you play a key role in bridging customer expectations with deliverable solutions. Your primary responsibility is to transform customer requirements into commercially viable solutions/proposals through smart scoping, competitive costing/pricing model with optimal delivery planning. You will manage the commercial planning between production in Malaysia and Singapore, coordinate the technical requirements / aspects accurately among departments. You will also manage the preparation of all technical and marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Technical Support
- Interpret and transform customer needs into comprehensive solution proposals
- Drive competitive solution development, cost optimization, and scoping strategy
- Coordinate production planning and delivery schedules with Malaysia and Singapore
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure solution accuracy and feasibility
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and marketing collateral for sales purposes
Client Engagement & Communication
- Serve as a technical liaison between client, and the production in Singapore and in Malaysia
- Address and resolve customer queries or technical concerns efficiently
- Maintain professionalism in all client-facing interactions and communications
- Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders
Operational Support
- Monitor and track order delivery timelines to ensure prompt fulfillment
- Support the Sales team in day-to-day customer service activities
- Maintain accurate customer records and databases
- Stay updated on product and service offerings to support client inquiries
- Assist in preparing periodic reports for management review
