Working Hours
- Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 8:00am to 11:00am Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Requirement
- 1 year experience maintaining school garden Ability to operate hydroponics system and troubleshoot
Job Scope
1) Maintain the aesthetic appeal of the garden by
➢ Pruning
➢ Pathway upkeep
- Weed/crawler removal
- Watering
- Snail population maintenance
- Diseased plant removal
- Shed maintenance
- General gardening
2) Greenhouse
➢ Care for hydroponic system – timer, water, solar system and nutrients
3) Miantenance of other plants around the school
4) Ad hoc
➢ Prepare plots for class projects
➢ Liase with landscapers for large scale works
➢ Generate hydroponic system report (eg: why a batch grew well/ did not grow well)
➢ General surrounding upkeep
