Senior Accountant (ISCA)

Reporting To: Senior Finance Manager
Role Summary
We’re looking for a hands-on Chartered Accountant to lead end-to-end accounting operations , support FP&A , and liaise with statutory auditors to ensure full regulatory alignment. This role demands precision, ownership, and the ability to communicate clearly across compliance and commercial domains.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
- Manage full set of accounts, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain and update general ledger, fixed asset register, and inventory accounting
- Monitor AP/AR ageing, prepare vendor and customer reconciliations
- Oversee GST computations, IRAS submissions, CPF remittances, and tax filings
- Handle payroll accounting and employee expense claims in compliance with local frameworks Develop, document, and implement accounting processes and internal controls
Statutory Audit & Compliance Liaison
- Act as primary point of contact for statutory auditors and external stakeholders
- Prepare audit schedules, respond to audit queries, and support fieldwork logistics
- Ensure audit readiness through proactive documentation and control hygiene
- Facilitate timely resolution of compliance issues and audit adjustments
- Maintain documentation for PDPA, GDPR, and IRAS obligations
FP&A Collaboration
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting
- Perform variance analysis and contribute to cost optimization
- Support profitability modeling and pricing decisions with sound financial inputs
- Provide financial insights that inform strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant accreditation (ISCA or equivalent)
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 3–5 years’ experience in accounting operations, with exposure to statutory audits and FP&A
- Strong familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
Skills & Attributes
- Proficient in accounting systems like SAP, Xero, or QuickBooks
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and financial modeling
- Excellent understanding of local tax, payroll, and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical mindset paired with operational discipline
- Able to build rapport with auditors, regulators, and internal teams
- Deadline-oriented, self-directed, and detail-obsessed
