We are seeking a Senior Assistant Manager, Building & Facilities Management, who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and smooth operation of the School’s facilities, including maintenance, security, compliance, and space management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and oversee all building systems, infrastructure and essential services to ensure uninterrupted school operations.
- Plan and prepare labs, offices and other facilities to meet academic, research and operational needs.
- Ensure that labs are fully equipped, prepared and compliant for incoming faculty and academic programs.
- Manage the timely removal of obsolete equipment and hazardous materials in line with safety, environmental and operational standards.
- Coordinate with faculty, staff, students, contractors and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth operations and alignment of priorities.
- Monitor and manage facility-related budgets, contracts and service providers to achieve cost efficiency and high-quality service delivery.
- Undertake other duties as assigned to support the School’s operations.
Requirements:
- Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline. Professional certification will be an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facilities, property, or operations management, preferably in an academic, research, or laboratory environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, maintenance, compliance, and asset management.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse groups.
