About the Client:
Our client is a globally recognized financial services group with an established IT hub in Singapore supporting mission-critical systems for capital markets. They are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their technology team and drive automation and reliability across the development and deployment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate CI/CD pipelines and support environment provisioning
- Manage and maintain development, testing, and production environments
- Develop tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and system operations
- Collaborate with developers and infrastructure engineers to ensure smooth delivery
- Implement observability and monitoring solutions for system performance
- Participate in root cause analysis and proactively resolve issues
- Document processes and contribute to DevOps best practices
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles
- Strong background in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with scripting languages: Python, Shell, PowerShell
- Solid understanding of UNIX/Linux environments and relational databases
- Familiarity with tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Control-M, MQ, and Elastic Search
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and container orchestration
- Background in financial systems or capital markets is a plus
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
