- Work with cross-functional teams on detailed electrical and electronics design at system level, sub-systems, modules, and components level
- Resolve issues and improve product reliability
- Ensure the design and functionalities meet user needs, able to meet cost target and quality specification, as well as develop options for product continuity
- Perform analytical studies, risk assessment, mechanical verification, and validation
- Co-ordinate design and fabrication activities locally or with overseas partners
- As a mentor to junior engineers and enhance their knowledge and skills
- Ensure proper documentation (Design History File) for mechanical design
