Position
The Senior Human Resource Manager is both a strategic and hands-on role responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resource functions. You will partner with business leaders to develop and execute Human Resource strategies focused on talent management & development, performance & budget management, compensation & benefits, HR processes and employee engagement.
Job responsibilities
Talent Management & Development
- Ensure an effective talent acquisition strategy is in place to meet the business objectives
- Identify and develop talent and capability through various learning, talent initiatives & strategies that are aligned closely to business needs Partner with regional Talent Manger to ensure an effective and robust talent succession pipeline to support mid and long-term business objectives
Compensation & Benefits
- Establish an effective compensation and benefits program aligned with the Organization’s talent strategy & total reward philosophy
- Lead and ensure timely submission of Salary & Benefits Survey exercises to drive continuous improvement on the organization’s rewards and benefits programs Partner with regional C&B team to ensure competitiveness of the retail incentive/ commission schemes to attract and retain talent
Performance Management & Employee Relations
- Coach business leaders on HR policies and processes, including talent planning, learning and development, and performance management to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development
- Ensure smooth execution of the annual performance management experience and to follow through on key developmental discussions
- To facilitate the resolution of employee relation issues and thorough objective investigations in partnership with business leaders & legal counsels
Other Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and execution of corporate HR initiatives and strategies (Employer branding, Talent Management, HRIS related etc.)
- Track people metrics and analysis to derive meaningful HR insights. Develop & implement action plans and monitor the effectiveness of actions via qualitative feedback and talent metrics
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly headcount & payroll cost reporting. Partner with finance team and regional C&B to build & monitor annual HR budget and expenses
- Review and implement HR processes and policies in support of building a quality and engaged workforce
- Lead, coach and develop a strong HR business partnering team
Profile
- University degree in Human Resources Management or Business
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity within an international and fast paced business environment
- Driven individual who possesses strong stakeholder management capability and excellent influencing & interpersonal skills.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to translate business goals into HR strategies and to execute effective action plans
- Resilient and performance driven individual who is able to thrive in a multi-cultural environment
- Solutions focused and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
- Strategically agile without losing the ability to roll out one’s sleeves to get things done as and when required.
