This teaching role is in the School of Business.[What you will be working on]
As part of the role, the successful candidate is expected to fulfil the following responsibilities, mainly:
Develop teaching and assessment curriculum and course materials for pre-employment (PET) students and continuing education and training (CET) learners.
Proficiency in teaching at least three of the following areas:
Digital Transformation and Innovation in HR
HR Technology and Analytics
HR Information Systems (HRIS)
Change Management
Organisation Development
Employee Engagement and Experience
Talent Acquisition and Management
Total Rewards Management
Performance Management
Learning and Development
Conduct PET classes and CET training, in accordance to teaching quality standard of TP.
Collaborate with industry to provide industry linkages to the teaching curriculum.
Engage with industry projects/workgroups.
Lead and/or actively contribute to school activities, poly-based committees and/or inter-poly activities.
Lead, mentor and coach students, in school curriculum, school activities, interest groups/student groups and/or competitions.
Organise and administer student-related/school activities such as learning journeys, and student trips.
[What we are looking for]
Tertiary qualification in Business or related discipline.
Preferably with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
A strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Proficient in using analytics software for business and HR strategies and analysis.
Have strong industry linkages to carry out human resource and/or student related projects and research.
Ability to collaborate with others to drive positive learning outcomes.
Has a growth mindset to stay abreast of industry developments.
Good administrative skills with strong ability to multi-task.
Able to coach, mentor, and guide students.
