This teaching role is in the School of Business.[What you will be working on]
As part of the role, the successful candidate is expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:
Conduct lessons for full-time diploma students and part-time adult learners.
Mentor students in applied projects to develop practical and industry-relevant skills.
Design and develop high-quality curriculum and course materials aligned with evolving professional standards.
Create and deliver customized workshops tailored for adult learners.
Collaborate with industry partners to integrate current practices and trends into the curriculum.
Participate in consultancy projects to bridge academic and industry needs.
Support strategic initiatives by actively participating in committees, student development activities, events, and competitions.
Lead the development and enhancement of programs, ensuring technical rigour and industry alignment.
Take on leadership roles within committees to drive innovation and excellence.
[What we are looking for]
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Financial Planning, Wealth Management, or Business Administration, or professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, CA, ACCA, or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
A passion for talent development, with a proven track record of engaging with youth and adult learners.
Proficiency in teaching at least two of the following areas: Advanced Accounting / Auditing and Assurance / Financial Planning and Wealth Management / Investment Strategies and Analysis / Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in Finance.
