Education & Certification
• Bachelor’s degree
Experience
• At least 5-7 year’s experience with an brand organization or as a brand consultant, or related field
Other Prerequisites
• You have a deep understanding of the branding process, and the strategic management of all those involved.
• You love getting to know things intimately and getting under the skin of how everything & everyone works. This means spotting connections that others don’t by looking for links between culture, futures and people
• You have an obsessive attention to detail when it comes to brand execution and understands the scale of operational delivery
• You thrive in a fast-moving environment where you can jump in, quickly figure things out, roll up your sleeves, and actively push our long-term brand vision into meaningful expressions that span the entire customer experience
• An ability to focus as well as multi-task, prone to see (and seek) solutions, not problems
• You are motivated to succeed as a team, not individual
• You are generous with your time and open with your thoughts. Above all, you derive joy in helping the many facets of a brand find their rightful place in the world.- Be the organizational center of projects – manage projects, problem solve, and lead flawless execution even when the path to executing deliverables is not set in stone as yet.
- Drives multi-channel brand program development, working with multi-disciplinary teams
- Collaborates to shape the big picture business and marketing context and ideas, as well as delivering on tactical executions with finesse
- Is a confident ambassador of our team to senior stakeholders, capable of consulting with leaders across departments, originating ideas & bringing the wider IR along the journey
- Advocates for the business internally, and keeps the agency team informed, focused, and enthused about the work and the business.
- Coordinate team meetings, working group sessions and internal stakeholder presentations.
- Monitors strategy, on-time/on-budget project performance and scope with agency partners & internal production teams and escalates as necessary
- Is the caretaker and watchdog of all collateral, signage, advertising, promotional materials, graphics and all other brand identity materials whether for on property, off-property or online use, etc. is “on brand” and conforms to our brand guidelines and style guide.
- Act as a unifying force across the entire organization, working closely with the marketing, comms & content teams, to translate well defined plans into effective, authentic branded communications & experiences
- Form meaningful relationships with people, being clear & approachable as this role must work with every department across the MBS ecosystem, from senior leadership to marketing, design, operations, customer service, sales, and distribution—to create a cohesive customer experience.
- Actively works to grow and develop the skills and abilities of junior staff
- Challenges direction, or the status quo, and seeks alternate perspectives and approaches in developing effective brand strategies.
- Evaluates the input and ideas of creative, media and strategic planning relative to strategy and MBS preferences.
