Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Fleet Operations portfolio to achieve strategic business and organisational objectives.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Fleet Engineering, Fleet QHSSE, Fleet Sustainability, and Fleet Data & Digital to optimise existing processes, drive improvements, and develop innovative operational solutions.
- Ensure the timely and effective deployment of all harbour craft to support operational requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies and operational plans to ensure the fleet is prepared to meet both current and future business demands.
- Establish and execute effective frameworks for workforce development, supply chain optimisation, innovation, brand positioning, and organisational growth to support fleet resilience and success in a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous) environment.
- Drive initiatives for resource optimisation and business continuity to safeguard operational capabilities during major disruptions.
- Engage and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, both locally and internationally, to achieve business outcomes.
- Represent the organisation in engagements with trade unions, government agencies, regulatory bodies, industry associations, technology providers, and institutes of higher learning.
- Undertake additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Maritime Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a senior management or leadership role, preferably within maritime or fleet operations.
- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering results in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Strong executive leadership, strategic planning, and general management capabilities.
