What You'll Do:
- Manage security planning for Security-by-Design (SBD) projects to ensure that the construction of new substations and upgrading of existing substations can be carried out in accordance with the requirements stipulated under the Infrastructure Protection Act (IPA)
- Coordinate with external agencies including regulatory and government agencies on matters concerning the physical protection of critical infrastructures
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, multi-disciplinary consultants including Security and Blast consultants
- Manage and provide security consultancy/advice on matters relating to physical security to internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee security consultancy projects and initiatives
- Source and acquire the latest technologies and solutions in the market
- Manage the implementation of security measures at critical infrastructures in accordance to Approved Security Plan (ASP)
- Monitor projects closely to ensure that they meet the planned schedule, cost and quality objectives
- Coordinate and monitor work progress at sites, including periodical site inspections and attending meetings, during the construction phase of projects
- Participate in the preparation and delivery of detailed tender documents and presentations
- Plan and conduct red teaming exercises at critical infrastructures
What You'll Need:
- Degree from a recognized university
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Security Planning, Protective Security or SBD
- Have high integrity and a team player
- Able to work independently and possess strong communication skills
- Effective written communication and report writing skills
- Professional qualifications in security and project management would be advantageous
- Security consulting and project management experience would be advantageous
- Able to remain positively motivated at times of significant pressure including assisting stakeholders to meet deadlines
