Responsibilities:-
1. Perform sales functions, including prospecting of customers, approach, presentation, follow-up and closing of orders.
2. Handle all sales enquiries, including in-door sales enquiries / telephone sales enquiries.
3. Check and compare costing / estimation against actual costs for awarded job. Budget planning and control for jobs. Responsible for correct / accuracy of acceptance level in costing.
4. Customer liaison and service; Review customers’ contracts, terms & conditions.
5 Business development / new market development.
6. Planning and implementation of marketing strategies.
7. Conduct market research, monitor business environment, trend and sales performance.
8. Sets targets / forecast of potential projects and orders.
9. Costing and estimation of products, ie. Switchboards, etc.
10. Co-ordination work (internal or external) on drawing approval, quality, engineering, delivery schedule and commissioning issues.
11. Invoice for completed orders.
12. Follow-up on payment due from customers.
13. Review TERASAKI product capabilities and capacities to meet the requirements of the customers
14. Take on added tasks / responsibilities as assigned by the superiors.
15. Follow the procedures of Quality Management System for effective implementation and control.
Job Requirement:
1) 1-5 years’ sales experience in electrical engineering industry and marine electrical systems and automation systems.
3) Possess experience in handling sales enquiry and doing quotation for project sales.
4) Sales experience in power panel, circuit breaker and related electrical system is an advantage.
5) Knowledge in electrical switchboard/switchgear is an advantage.
6) Strong technical knowledge.
